Now this was a fun one. I traveled an hour north of San Francisco to the charming city of Santa Rosa for engagement session with Angela and Josh. I went up into the mountains to their private land and was in awe of the views and the serenity. See you two in San Francisco in September.

Josh asked Angela to marry him as she was finishing off a half marathon.

Alright, heres another fun one from Los Angeles. Last time we saw Theresa and Eric it was for their downtown engagement session, now for their wedding they kept it nice and green. The day was an amazing one, getting ready at the London Hotel in West Hollywood then heading over to Santa Monica for the ceremony at St. Paul the Apostle. We made a little stop at the Gamble House for some portraits and finally ended at Pandora on Green for the reception. A big thanks to the Little Branch for the flowers, Jordan Event Studio and Timeless Celebrations for the coordination and Shannon Sturgis for the assist.
Update: This wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty California!

You might remember them from their music themed engagement, now they’re back for the music themed wedding. We started off at the Embassy Suites in Glendale for their first look, then headed over to Brand Park for a few more portraits. St. Bernard’s church in Los Angeles housed their ceremony and the LA River Center and Gardens their reception. Thanks to Mary Frances of Floataway Studios for shooting with me.

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged and I’m getting back in the habit. A full season flying back and forth from San Diego and NYC has taken its toll on my social media, but this should be a fun way to get the ball rolling.
A few months ago I went to San Francisco to photograph a bridal session with a friend of mine Rita and her husband Chad. They got married in Bora Bora so they wanted to get some portraits done in San Francisco where they reside. Rita and I have been friends since high school and we got into the wedding industry at the same time, me with photography and her with makeup. She is an extremely talented makeup artist, so brides if you are in the San Diego or San Francisco area, definitely check out her work.

Started off my 2012 wedding season with Linda and Aleksander in Los Angeles. They had a low key affair which was a lot of fun for me, just portraits and a party, what can get better than that? We started off at the Standard hotel then headed off to the Caltrans building in downtown Los Angeles to take advantage of the downtown views and awesome architecture. Then we headed off to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for dinner and dancing, enjoy.

Heres a fun wedding at the Hotel Maya to celebrate the big day for Marjoriemay and John. We started off at the hotel for the getting ready, then headed to St. Anthony’s for the ceremony, then with a major break before portrait time, Joe (of Joe+Kathrina weddings) and I decided to partake in a little sangria action. Haha, that set the mood of right! We then went off and partied with May and John all night. A big thanks to the team from Bellz & Whistlez for coordinating such a gorgeous wedding day, enjoy!

I love your work! Your series always do a great job of telling the unique story of each wedding and each couple. My buddy and I are going to be doing our first wedding shoot at the beginning of March, and we are using your blog as inspiration.

My favorite stuff by you! Flawless.
Beautiful!
I have to say, you did such a great job. Thank you for making us feel very comfortable because we were fish out of water, and you can’t even tell! That’s what a true artist and professional does. See you in less than 4 months!
