Now this was a fun one. I traveled an hour north of San Francisco to the charming city of Santa Rosa for engagement session with Angela and Josh. I went up into the mountains to their private land and was in awe of the views and the serenity. See you two in San Francisco in September.

Josh asked Angela to marry him as she was finishing off a half marathon.

Just got back to San Diego for the holidays and of course I have to post up some photos from an engagement session I had a few weeks ago with Jordan and Daniel in New York City. We went around midtown and hit the sights, going to the always photogenic Grand Central Terminal and Central Park. What beats NYC in the fall?

Photographing this awesome couple’s wedding tomorrow in New York City, so wanted to show off a lil of the work that we did for their engagement session. Melody and Curtis met at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, so we traveled back there to reminisce.

Heres a fun shoot I got to do last week with Julie and Andy! Julie is a fellow photographer out of Seattle and was visiting New York with her husband Andy, which happened to coincide with their one year wedding anniversary. So it was definitely an honor to photograph their anniversary session in Brooklyn, on what was probably one of most gorgeous days you can ask for. DUMBO provided the backdrop for this awesome couple, can’t wait to hang with them in Seattle, enjoy.

For my first engagement session of 2012, Nikki, Ren and I headed to the University of San Diego’s Geisel Library to start off the day. We had fun with the sun (and cold) but weathered through and then headed to La Jolla Shores to round out the session.

Chaz, thanks for all the great pictures. I can’t wait to see you in May.

love your work!! so fresh and honest – great editing as well! Love love love

My engagement session with Cindy and Mark was a dope one, they travel a lot together, so they wanted to theme out their session with a place near and dear to their hearts, the airport. We got to go onto the tarmac of San Diego International Airport and watching the planes takeoff and land that close was definitely an experience. I want to thank the staff of SAN for being so accommodating to us, they were just as excited about the shoot as we were!

Back to Los Angeles for another engagement session, this time it was all about the music with April and Joseph. This couple has some amazing music taste along with being cocktail aficionados. We headed off to the Hollywood Bowl to catch some awesome sunrays, then hit up their favorite haunt in Hollywood, The Hotel Cafe where we let them be center stage.

I love when my clients are architects, they can understand my love for equality. So when we started the session at Eric’s apartment, I knew it was a match made in heaven. Especially after seeing his old video game collection, man it brings me back to the good old days! After the apartment, we searched downtown Los Angeles for a view of the skyline and man, did we get lucky.
