I had photographed Raquel for a previous Senior session but ever since then, we had talked about doing another session with an idea that I had in mind. I always see one of my good friends based out of Utah, Jason McGrew, shooting in awesome open fields with hills that go for miles, so I was like "why can't I do that?" Haha, as you can tell I get jealous very easily. And since I am based out of San Diego, I guess I can rub it in his face that I can shoot at a beach any day I want, so he should actually be more jealous of me! Anyway, Raquel and I went out on a little scouting mission trying to find our own field and we found a great spot right in my own backyard!

My cousin Vanessa called me and asked me if I could take her graduation photos for her. She is actually graduating from Cal State Fullerton today! Her major is Child Adolescent Studies, which is good for her because she still acts like a child, haha just kidding Vanessa! So I traveled up from San Diego to the OC to get on her campus and snap some photos. We had a blast running around during finals week, we weren't expecting so many students to be there on a weekend, so Vanessa made me shoot as quickly as possible. It was fun making her sweat it out and get a little embarrassed, you have to torture your family sometimes right?

I would like to thank my cousins Ginger and Joey and his girlfriend Michelle for helping me out with the shoot. Here are some quick outtakes, on the left is Vanessa getting embarrassed as usual and on the right is Ginger trying to control that tassle.

Ahh, photographing at my old high school, Eastlake HS in Chula Vista, brings back hilarious memories. I used to be a punk, liberty spikes, band t-shirts, the whole nine yards. I definitely still love and listen to the music, I just don't feel like being socially inept anymore, haha just kidding! But Eastlake was amazing, my best friends now are the friends that I met there when I transferred there during my junior year. Over the weekend I photographed Hannah, a junior from Eastlake (beautiful segue no?) who brought great personality to the senior session. Of course I brought Ramil again with me, another Eastlake Titan, and we had a fun shoot. We went around the school and made use of the architecture and landscape, so here are a few of my favorite shots!

I swear she can smile, so here is a shot of Hannah doing just that. Also pictured, the random faces she would throw out during the session, classic.
