Went up to Newport Beach to photograph Josh and Katie's wedding with my great friend Mr. Jason McGrew. Since he is from Utah, this was his first time shooting in California so I went along with him to make sure he didn't screw up his California adventure. Haha just kidding Jason! He just put up a post about Josh and Katie's wedding day on his blog, so I thought I would post my view to coincide with his images. I love seeing how our different styles complement each other so well, maybe we should go into business together? He needs to move to California!

Symmetry is key!

I love the expressions on their faces.

On top of the yacht, we did do a Titanic shot, but we'll save that for another day.

I LOVE this next shot, but I feel for the poor girl on the left, who got elbowed in the head!

Katie's grandfather, he had an awesome hat that said "Mississippi Queen" on it.

Running on the beach in Newport the next morning, we didn't intend on it being a "Trash the Dress" session, but the waves had a mind of their own!

My favorite shot of the day.

A few weeks ago I photographed the beautiful of Kim & Paul on Shelter Island.
The day was gorgeous!

The arch on Shelter Island.

Love this tattoo on Kim's sister, for all of you who don't know the Filipino language (Tagalog), mahal = love.

"No Fishing" for girls anymore Paul. Haha...sorry that was lame.

I love that the engagement photos I took of them were on their cake!

Paul's mom could throw down some moves.

The end of the night outside of the Bali Hai restaurant.

A few weeks ago I documented the wedding of Kim and Tony on a Hornblower cruise ship. I was a little worried that I would get sea sick but I was actually fine, couldn't say the same for my assistant Jennee though! Haha, anyway on to the photos!
Here's a shot of Kim's daughter Malia, or "Bear" as they call her. I got nicknamed "Cougar" during the course of the wedding, I wonder if she knew what it meant, haha.

Definitely had to incorporate the Navy theme into the wedding rings, looks underwater huh? Haha.

Probably one of the sweetest things I have seen was when Tony asked Malia to marry him as well, there wasn't a dry eye on the boat.

You can see the love Tony has for Kim.

Malia looks like a little Frida Kahlo.

If you are wondering what the title means, just wait until the middle of the post, but beware, this one has a lot images! Jorel and Christine's wedding was full of laughs and we got so many great images together, pair that with seeing many old friends, I couldn't ask for a better couple to work with.

Jorel has an obession with Air Jordan's, so I had to do a shoe shot of his kicks!

Jaythan getting ready for the ladies.

The fellas are pretty pumped.

Ok, so here is where the title is referring to! Jorel and Christine had Jaythan about nine years ago, so when Jaythan came up to give his speech to his parents, he said something to this affect, "mom and dad, finally. This is the day that I have been waiting for. For nine years!" The whole place erupted in laughter, Jaythan definitely gets his humor from his dad!

My favorite shot of Christine with her dad.

And Jorel with his mom.

Jorel and his Jordans and dance-offs on the floor!

What a great way to end the night, fireworks!
